Efficiency, Invention, and the Glow of the Screen

I'm interested in exploring and learning more about the use of the online poetry journal. How has the formatting influenced and allowed for more experimental types of poetry? How does the actual experience of reading off of a computer screen affect the work? These questions are incredibly broad in respect to the vast number of e-journals, but hopefully will provide me a good starting point.
